Hello All,
I've recently decided to try and use a few of the plugins that TrueNas has to offer but I cannot seem to use any of them without crippling my entire network including LAN. I'll describe what happens below to the best of my abilities.
TrueNas is on a server with 4 NIC slots with only 2 in use (bce0 and bce1).
My network DHCP address is 192.168.1.1.... which means the DHCP server will have the subnet mask of /24.
BCE1 is a static IP address of 192.168.1.73
BCE2 is on DHCP mode and has been given an IP address of .155.
I go to setup any plugin and I choose NAT mode as I have a business ISP package and have 13 static IP addresses to choose but my main network is only using one of them, that causes the jail to randomly assign a completely random IP of 10.0215... and a subnet of /30 which obviously doesn't work.
If I set the mode to NAT as I am binding internal IP addresses to ONE external IP address, it causes my ENTIRE network to crash, every device looses not just WAN but LAN connections to each other and if the plugin has autostart I have to go to the shell on the machine and remove the entire jail folder from the datashare/storage device. I can choose NAT and DHCP but then the Admin panel for the plugins just brings me to the TrueNas login GUI.
