All right here is my config:
Cisco SG 100D-08 gigabit switch (no router connected to it, therefore no DHCP)
Server is an old Athlon 4000+ with 2 GB DDR RAM with an Intel EXPI9402PTBLK Two Gigabit Copper Server Connections 10/ 100/ 1000Mbps
I boot FreeNas version FreeNAS-8.2.0-RELEASE-p1-x64 from an Usb stick and get to the Console Setup page.
I manually config my adapter with: IPV4 with IP :192.168.100.1/24 on FreeNas
I manually config my lan connection on my win7 laptop with a similar IP adress and same default subnet mask.
I double checked that every sharing options were on and without password protection. Eset firewall was set to off.
Still, through chrome or firefox I can't reach the WebGUI of my server..
I am clearly doing something wrong in there..
This is my first attempt on setting up a freenas server so please go easy lol
