Have you tried reading the hardware guides? I'm not completly sure but there is a very good chance your motherboard doesn't work. It has mostly gaming features and FreeNAS isn't very good at gaming. I suggest getting some hardware more focused on servers or workstations.

You mean you didn't see the constant suggestion to not use gaming hardware.

Why do you insist on writing "freeness" instead of FreeNAS? Please reign in that autocorrect.

Edit: For those wondering, I edited those to "FreeNAS". That's why they're gone.

Which error code? All that was mentioned was being "stuck in the menu" and not even which menu. Help us help you by providing precise details.

It stays stuck there and if I hit control C it starts to go thru more steps but then gets stuck again. And that's when I get the error codes it let me put up the first photo but it won't let me do the next few

"Stuck" but continues after ctrl-C makes me think it's a timeout. Is it attached to a network with a DHCP server? Does it continue booting if you wait for a minute or so?

See also this thread here in the same subforum and the bug report mentioned there:
https://forums.freenas.org/index.php?threads/stuck-on-loading-kernel-modules.50046/

Obviously FreeNAS 9.10.x (FreeBSD 10.3) is not able to boot on Kaby Lake systems.

Yes, great pointer. Seems obvious at this point. Here is the bug from that thread... https://bugs.freenas.org/issues/20656

I suppose the OP could try a nightly that is using FreeBSD 11. (Mentioned in the bug thread.)

I am more lost than ever. The first one is waiting at the console menu. Can you type things? If so, it is working.

The second is stopping somewhere after NTPD startup. Press ctrl-T and see if it shows anything.
