Running the update from FreeNAS-11.3-U1 to 11.3-U2.1 at what seems to be the end of the process I get the following error:

Cannot remove file /usr/local/www/freenasUI/common/__pycache__/timesubr.cpython-37.pyc

When looking at that file in shell, it seems there might be some underlying issue, here I get the error below when I "ls -l" or "rm" the file.

timesubr.cpython-37.pyc: Unknown error: 122

The install is fairly fresh (~6 months) on new equipment and drives, I cannot find that error anywhere either.

Please help and thanks.

If you have a backup of your config and your config is not too complex (encrypted pools or a complex certificate structure), you should be fine to do a fresh install to the new version and restore your config.

You can always boot to the previous boot environment to get to a place where you can back up your config.
