Hi,
I have a little problem with CIFS sharing. In the past the server did hang in a old version and the CIFS configuration got corrupted.
In that time i posted how to solve this and the best way was to go back to factory settings and rebuild the configuration.
Because CIFS was not mandatory (we work with NFS) but only used for admin purposes we skipped this and let the server continue.
Last week we decided to factory reset the configuration because this server got a new role in the network so we could clear the config. But it did not work, even reinstalling the operating system did not work. We even deleted the .system/ directory and reboted.
Is there a way to activate CIFS again without formatting the harddrives and reinstalling the system?
System is currently running: 9.3.1
