Dear all,

I have searched for my "issue" many times, here and on other sites.
It is about the EFI shell that i keep seeing.

Now there is a lot of info on the EFI shell after installing a VM, but in my case i do not even get to install the software in the first place.
I tried installing FreeBSD and Ubuntu, it is all the same.
I also tried AHCI or VirtIO, same issue.

There was some info on the fact that maybe the ISO was not selected properly or the ISO was not suitable altogether. Here again, i tried several ISO's and tried renaming the ISO (maybe it had issues with the long name although that seemed weird to me).

I always end up in the EFI shell menu and when i go to EXIT and try selecting things there, i do not get where i want. In fact, i cannot see any disk either.

Countless hours i spent on trying to get something running, but i am losing motivation a bit now.

My FreeNAS is version FreeNAS-11.2-U7
If there is anything i can do to help solve this, i will try and do so.

In the meantime, i will keep looking but i feel stuck because most people have issues with EFI shell that are somewhat different from mine.

Thanks for any attention in advance.
