Cannot export pool because of .system

Hello,

FreeNAS's "system" dataset is preventing me from exporting my pool. I have a hardware failure and I want to export the pool before doing anything else; however, I cannot export the pool because .system is in use. How do you guys deal with this?

PS: I even stopped the syslog service, but something is still preventing me from unmounting .system.

What version of FreeNAS? If you go to system > advanced and uncheck .system and stop the syslog from writing to the pool what happens?
