Cannot destroy dataset

I have a small problem here which I seek advice on: I played around with a dataset this afternoon. Now I cannot delete this very dataset. A search in the forum revealed nothing useful.

I had an NFS and an AFP share configured for the dataset. These have already been removed again. I have removed the clients accesses to these shares on the clients. I have removed the payload data form the dataset. When I try to remove the dataset the screen goes red and there is a question whether I really want to delete the dataset. After I confirm this nothing happens.

I already removed datasets from my server before so I know this has worked at least once.

• Should I try this from the command line and if so, how is this accomplished?
• Are there any logfiles available for diagnosis?

(I'm fine with a shell however on a generic BSD / Unix level, not yet FreeNAS specific.)

Well, it worked now, the dataset is gone. I wanted to check this again to get the exact message and voila.
