Can iSCSI be shared by multiple PC's?

Being fairly new to iSCSI things I was wondering if a iSCSI target can be shared by multiple PC's? I am guessing no because that would be like connecting a physical hdd to multiple PC's at the same time.

no, it's a 1 to 1 mapping. you could have that 1 share it out though, smb, ftp...

By shared out you mean from the PC host connecting to the iSCSI target right? I can't share the iSCSI device on FreeNAS using SMB or FTP or?
