Can I add OLD windows drives without data loss?

I do not want to have the physical drive in my pc but want to be able to get the old data off it from elsewhere. I know I could just put all the data on it on my current array but I would like to just add it. Is that possible?

You can mount NTFS for copying stuff off but you can't use the drive in a pool with zfs
