CAM status: SCSI Status Error

The information (for me) in this Solved Bug https://bugs.freenas.org/issues/1615
in the tracker was incomplete:

The message was in my case caused by the Tigo TG3 firmware (tg3_tso5.bin) not being installed / recognized and had nothing to do with the DVD player ( I tested 5 DVD players. 3 HD's and a USB stick) as described in the solved bug.

Are you referring to the Broadcom BCM5705 gigabit Ethernet driver? If so, it should work with the bge driver. If not, post the relevant output of dmesg and ifconfig.

working on this a few hours, sometimes in "trial and error" mode , in fact trying to install Debian Wheezy or Freenas on this node both gave some errors on these drivers http://blog.noviantech.com/2010/06/23/debian-kernels-and-tigon-tg3-firmware/ , Freenas responded with the SCSI error which in the end did not seem te be related to the issue here, i am sorry I am not able to repeat the issue as it is resolved and the server is online in the network now
