BurnCD ?

Is there a way to burn a CD on the FreeNAS server if I have an ISO image on the server?

On FreeBSD I used " burncd -e -f /dev/acd0 data MyISO.iso fixate"

Is there a way to install "burncd" on FreeNAS?

This will allow me to consolidate a couple of boxes.

You can't install anything on FreeNAS. It's like an embedded install. Normally, the recommendation is to install stuff in the jail. However the jail won't have access to your cd burner anyway. :(

Edit: To clarify, you "can". But FreeNAS has only 10MB of free space on the partition and it expects all 10MB to be available. If you start taking up that small amount of space you could corrupt FreeNAS. So just don't do it. It's really not worth it just to burn some cds locally(assuming installing burncd is all you'd have to install anyway).
