Is this the date for the production ready FreeNAS 10 release?

Go for FN10. I've been running it for 2 months with no data loss. I've run into plenty of bugs but nothing that I couldn't work around, rollback to an earlier release to fix, or wait a few days for a fix. (Yes, all of those things happened at one point or another.)

But it's very close to release. IMO, it's home production ready. Soon it will be business production ready.

FN10 Release wont be ready for a while. As @Ericloewe has posted, the first RC should be available within 2 weeks. If you're building now, don't worry about what version you're going to install as anything built for FreeNAS 9.10.2, FN10 will work on it once it's release.

Didn't realize the latest Version of R9 would be updateable to R10,
