Hi,

I'm new to to the (free) nas wolrd and i'm trying to create a VM on debian 9 to fool around with jeedom.

I'm currently running FreeNAS-11.3-U2 .

I created a new VM with debian 9 iso.
1Go ram, 20go Hdd.
When I start the VM and click on the VNC link to access it in the web UI I get a sreen that looks weird:
bhyve - noVNC.png

I can see things moving and reacting when I move the mouse around so it must be a "simple" display error?
Tried with an other iso, the result is the same.

Got an idea?

Thanks.

I am running FreeNAS-11.3-U2 and experiencing the same behavior with Debian ISOs. Also, the mouse and keyboard NoVNC input for my Ubuntu 19.10 VM no longer function. It seems as if bhyve or NoVNC are suddenly unstable. Everything was working great until this weekend. I thought that upgrading might solve this but no joy. I have over 10 GB of free RAM and my CPU utilization is less than 10%.

Not sure if this still interests you, but I ran into the same thing and found a helpful suggestion (setting the VNC resolution to 800x600) here:
You can find VNC to edit in the devices section of the vm.
