Best way to run Ombi V3 beta

FreeBSD is currently not supported on .Net Core. What is the best approach to run V3 on FreeNAS. Should I make a linux VM machine or Rancheros VM or some other way? Are there going to be any performance issues I should worry about?

i have installed Ombi V3 in a ubuntu VM, and then created a second VM to host my www server and using reverse ssl proxy to access Ombi
