You're saying it's fine to use non-ECC in a home situation? That isn't only flat out wrong, it is he complete opposite of correct. It is even more important to be using ECC in a home situation due to the much lower likelihood of having actual proper backups, so you have to minimalist the risk of data loss as much as possible, and...
