Hi guys,

I need to change my freenas version from 64b to 32b.

I have 3 disk (two with raid 1), shares, users, network config, ..... and I need to do a backup of all config, change the freenas version, and import all the configs again.

I already did a backup of the config (settings->save config).

1- Does that includes all the disk config? I mean, Volumes config.
2- are both version (64b vs 32b) compatible? will all the config work?

any other recommendation?
Its that possible?

thanks

Yes, it should be very straight forward. The only possible problem could be if you set any Loader or Sysctls settings that are hardware specific such as variables for memory or ZFS etc.. If so I'd comment those out in the GUI before backing up your config.

wow. that was fast.

no, no zfs.

users, groups, 1 raid 1, passwords, network, shares, ftp,

any other hint, tip or recommendation?

just backup config file, change pen drive, upload config file, and I will see all the drives, users, all pretty?

thanks
