Hi all,

Due to a network error I can't use the normal System>General>Save Config. I can't see FreeNAS over the network so have to back up my config at the box and reimage the boot device. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

cp /data/freenas-v1.db "/mnt/TANK/`date \+%Y\%m\%d`.db"
Replace TANK with your pool name.

yep in the root of your main storage tank will be a file with the name 20170310.db. I think you can restore a config right from the main freenas terminal.
