SOLVED Avid Media Composer Read speed issues

Hi All

I've got a user running Avid Media Composer and after an update to Windows 10 about 3 weeks ago the read speed has dropped dramatically.
The user is on a 1GB connection, never been an issue before been running like this for over a year now.

If i run BlackMagic SpeedTest I get 109MB Write but the read is slow to start goes to 103 Read but then drops to 23ishMB.
Not sure what's up with that.
I've enabled media_harmony on the VFS object, I also tried preopen but then there was no read speeds.
But it's still going really slow.
It's a windows to storage thing because this it the performance with Avid closed.
Any thoughts? Been trying to fix this since it started.

Would be inclined to point at antivirus/firewall issues, these come up quite regularly. *temporarily* switch them off and see if you get an improvement.

Rebooted the the freenas system and it was all good after that.

It would be good if you updated to TrueNAS 13.0-U1.1 (and then coming soon U2) or at very least 12.0-U8.1. For 11.3 I can only smile and go reading next thread.
