I can't understand 80% limit of available space for zvol. We use FreeNAS-11.1-RELEASE as iSCSI target for VMWare and Veeam. I was trying to increase iSCSI_VMware zvol but I gave "It is not recommended to use more than 80% of your available space for your zvol" message.
On the other hand I'm able to create the very new zvol of the same size I tried to add.
What exactly does "available space for zvol" mean?
