auto power down when switched to battery back up ?

like the title says. is there a setting that FreeNAS will detect that the power went out and switched to battery backup and therefore shutdown the system.

total nuubes with servers at the moment but FreeNAS is easy enough to use and get help with. i ask this bc 4 days ago my power went out (like it does at least once a month here) and one of my disks took some damage. im not sure if it trashed yet bc i have been running a scrub that has taken 23 hours so far ( im at 93.4% complete atm). so lesson learned i ordered a battery back up and it will work for the short outages but it would be nice to be super safe and have the rig shut down.

Yes, you need to configure the UPS service: http://doc.freenas.org/11/services.html#ups

any idea for what driver i should use for the APC Back-UPS BE600M1 or are drivers limited and only the ones listed should be used.

i take it that if the UPS green light is on in services then i found a driver that will work with mine. per the link they more or less just say to keep trying till you find one that works.
