Auto config backup methods

Hi,

When I download the config via GUI. The total file size is 1095680. When I run the following command, tar -cvf /mnt/raid2TB/freenas_configs_backup/${filename}${backup_file_extension} -C /data freenas-v1.db pwenc_secret the file size is 1088000. I don't know what else is included in the config back up via GUI?

Can the devs respond, please?

It's a simple TAR file. WinZIP should be able to open it so you can examine its contents.

thanks. it was a good idea. Both 'untard' versions show the same files with same sizes
