Hello everyone. I am new to FreeNas 8.3 but I keeping learning how to use the function. So Here's a little about my server:
Dell PowerEdge 2850
- 2x Intel Xeon dual 3.8GHz Processor
- 4GB RAM
- 2x 36GB 15k RPM HDD (using RAID 0 to become 72GB)
- 2x built in Intel Pro/1000 gigabit
- 1x Intel pro/1000 quad ports
It running on ESXi 4 because it only support for processor. I installed pfSense and FreeNAS 32 bit on virtual machines. Divided 2GB RAM each. I added USB interface for FreeNAS. I plugged FreeAgent 500GB in then there nothing pop up. I reboot the FreeNAS then still not pop up. Is there any way how to get External HDD to become function?
