freezes on Console screen

I have tried to install Freenas 9.3, 9.1 8.3 on my Dell Poweredge 2950 II. I have tried to install from CD to USB and USB to USB. Every time i get to the selection screen of Install/Upgrade, Shell, Restart, Shutdown it completely freezes and I cannot make any selections Has anybody had this issue in the past and know the solution?

My specs are:

2x 2.33GHz E5345 Quad Core
16GB RAM
2x1TB

Do a forum search for "Poweredge 2950". There are a number of threads that include that hardware.

Unfortunately nobody with this hardware is experiencing this same issue.

True, they aren't experiencing the same issue, but there are a boatload of issues. In any case, I wouldn't recommend that hardware as it sounds like some big unknown that may or may not work today and may or may not work with an update in the future.
