Asigra registered successfully but no add customer option

Hi,

I'm testing out the Asigra plugin and am stuck at creating a new customer.

I've successfully installed the plugin, got the gui to connect, created and assigned roles to an admin account, registered the plugin, and configured the registration server. The next step in all of the documentation is to right click on the instance within the gui and select Add Customer. Unfortunately, while everything else is accessible, the Add Customer option is still greyed out (see screenshot). Its the same for the customer dropdown on the top bar.

I'm using TrueNAS-13.0-STABLE (13.0-U5.3). The plugin is Asigra 14.2.0.6. The DS-System version info shows that I have a valid "FullFeatured Stand-alone" license valid until 2037 (see screenshot). To run the GUI, I am using JRE 1.8.0_381 on Windows 11.

Until I add a customer, I can't add a client. Without a client, no backups.

System hardware info and some screenshots below.

Thanks for any advice or ideas,

Burt

Notes:
I was following the steps found here: https://websupport.asigra.com/Documentation/Help/v14.2/DS-System Help/index.html
I registered via this url: https://licenseportal.asigra.com/licenseportal/user-registration.do (thanks @anonimo81)

Can you send this info to Asigra support... it seems like all the integration with TrueNAS is working, but some "cloud service" is not. It may be temporary or a long-lived issue which needs to be resolved.

I sure can but I thought the free version was without support. Also, I was hoping on the outside chance that someone had gone through this before and I was just missing something simple. I'll try their support when they open in the morning.

I left a message for customer support and they called me back within an hour. Impressive! He knew right away where I had gone wrong. When I set up the admin user's roles, I didn't select all the permissions. I incorrectly thought that the Account Manager permission group was just for assigning user roles so I hadn't set it. It's important to check all the available roles for the new user. I did this, relogged in and now I can set up a new customer. Thanks for the help, @morganL, and kudos to Asigra for providing tech support on their free accounts.

Here's what it *should* look like when you set the new user's permissions:
