Like 2020, last year was different. Amidst pervasive supply chain challenges, iXsystems outperformed the market in 2021 with 70% year-over-year growth in TrueNAS Open Storage deployments. We at iX offer our products the way we would want to consume them, and it is rewarding to see more organizations choosing TrueNAS, thus fueling our growth! iX is different, in a very good way.
Thinking people before profit fuels the passion that animates our efforts at iX to deliver data freedom. Our TrueNAS community shares this passion, and we could not advance our free and commercial offerings without their contributions.The foundation we’ve built over 20 years has allowed us to weather many business challenges, including the pandemic. Over this time the maturity and performance gap between popular commercial offerings and those based on open source has gotten much smaller or no longer exists.
Our results in 2021 are an indication that Enterprises and service providers alike are considering TrueNAS, an exciting trend we see continuing in 2022.
