Anyone tried 16GB Dimms in Supermicro X9SCL?

Hi,

I have a server setup with an X9SCL-F-O. Has anyone tried 16GB dimms in this board? I think it was developed before 16GB dimms were being marketed in the mainstream, so perhaps now that they're (more) available, maybe they just weren't included in the specs because they (essentially) didn't exist when the board was released?

The thing is, I can't find any information about anyone who's actually TRIED it. Has some brave soul out there tried to put 16GB DIMMs in their X9SC_ server?

If not, will I have to bite the bullet and be the first to try?

I have 2x8GB in mine so haven't tested, but they will most certainly won't work, because there is no reason for that mobo to accept 16GB Dimms.

It will most definitely not work. 16GB DDR3 UDIMMs only work with Avoton/C2000 atoms.

And DDR3 Xeon-D boards, but those are rare or even nonexistent.
