Has anyone tried these 'cheap' 10 GbE cards from Aquantia in either their windows PC (what performance do you get?) or in a FreeNAS build (does it or will it ever work?)

They're about 1/3 the price of the Intel X550T2BLK I've been looking at recently although only single port but that's fine for me. I see they only offer windows and linux drivers so I am not expecting it to work in FreeNAS at present but is there any likelihood in the future? I'm sure it will work ok under windows which is fine but I can't find any reviews - it would be nice to see some real world performance figures before trying it, especially as I'll have to order it from the USA and I'm in the UK so returning it is unlikely to be an option.

Cheers,
Dave
