More for my own edification. I'm using a dual core Athlon II for my processor. Is FreeNAS using both cores? Is it a multi-thread OS so that it can utilize both cores? Or is using a multi-core CPU just a waste of money/space? Just curious. I'm not changing anything, but I know now that I'm using FreeNAS, my buddies are gonna start asking questions and I'd like to know if it's worth the effort to use multi-cores. Thanks. Still loving this set-up!

Yes, it's a multi-thread OS. It's built on top of FreeBSD 8.2 (soon to be 8.3), so 99.9% of anything that FreeBSD is capable of, FreeNAS is also.
