Hi there,

Tried installing FreeNas 8.0.3 and go the following:
ACPI APIC Table: <RS690 AWRDACPI>
panic: AP #1 (PHY# 1) failed!
cpuid = 0
KDB: enter: panic
[thread pid 0 tid 0]
Stopped at kdb_enter+0x3d: movq $0,0x6637a0(%rip)

Hmm. Looks like no processor support.. Also tried BSD 8.2 and got something similar.. didn't write it down. Anyhow, loaded
Arch and all is well

# uname -a
Linux nas 3.0-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Aug 17 21:55:57 CEST 2011 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor BE-2350 AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux

I have alike problem on one of my boards. As far as I've found on the web, it could be result of buggy SMI code in BIOS that somehow interacts with SMP start-up sequence. It is hard to explain or believe, but my system reliably boots if I attach USB mouse to it. :)
