Does changing the UEFI settings in the BIOS make a difference? Does installing to a different stick make a difference?

I would save your config file and install to a new usb. Then upload your config.

i actually did that, and this problem I have came up after new installation

Basically my usb pen-drive died, so I had config files, install new FreeNAS upload config, everything works fine, apart boots every second time

When it fails to boot and shows error 2, press dot (.) and Enter several times. The point of this is to see if a USB device that is slow to be detected is the problem. If USB detection messages are shown, just pressing Enter afterwards should boot. (Maybe, it's been a while since I've tried that.)
