I am running Freenas 8.3. My storage is 3 - 2TB drives in a Raidz1 array. Last week I added a disk and wanted to create a new volume but instead somehow added the new disk to the raidz array, When I go to Storage > Volume Status I see a new disk under tank called stripe/ada3p2. I think I did something wrong because what I wanted was a new storage volume (tank2) that was not part of the raidz array. Any help is very much appreciated.

Yeah, from the looks of those images, it seems that you added another vdev to your pool. Unfortunately you won't be able to remove this entry, without destroying and rebuilding the pool, and you've also reduced the redundancy of the pool. If that new drive dies, you'll lose all data; you can still lose one of the raidz1 drives and just experience a degraded pool.

So, you basically need to make sure your backup is current, destroy the pool, and rebuild.
