is there a way to have freenas act as active directory as well as nas?

thanks for the reply. i have seen this wiki prior to my post. this explains how to add freenas to an active directory environment.
altough, i am looking for freenas to act as active directory
please correct me if i am wrong.

No, it is not possible, unless you install and configure it manually in the plugins jail
