Acrolock temp files

Hi

I'm getting endless acrolock########.tmp files generated from opening of PDFs.
And some cant be deleted afterwards.
Its causing all major issue on backup cron jobs.

Im using TrueNAS-13.0-U5.3 (core)
With the following SMB settings enabled:
Shadow Copies, Alternate Data Streams and SMB2/3 durable Handles.

I see there is a way to disable the protection mode in Adobe DC, but that's a security risk to our users.

We have the same issue. Somehow we managed to reduce Acrolock configuring Adobe Enhanced Security.

We created a GPO to disable those options.

All of the ones I found seem to be dated from before we upgraded to 13.0-U5.3. I have a support ticket open with support, but waiting on a a reply.

How did you go about removing the acrolock files from the TrueNAS?

Removing acrolocks only works thru the TrueNas shell for us.

I think most of my acrolock files occur when I am combining files. I am trying to save the files on a local harddrive to avoid files being created on the server.

In my setup, I solved the acrolock file creation problem by disabling Adobe Enhanced Security, just like @GEOptic suggested. That was at least a year ago and i have not seen a single acrolock file ever since.
