What kind of hardware are you running? Can you post the full message log.. var/log/messages

What version of freenas?

i ALWAYS get this on my test HP laptop - its likley ACPI isn't playing nice with freenas and reporting ABSURD cpu temps - just disable ACPI in the bootup sequence - it goes away

thank for your response... can you explain how to disable it on boot secuence?

when you boot freenas - look at the screen attached to the machine (if its headless attach a screen), there will be a boot menu after a few seconds with the freenas logo in ascii art - on the left there is a list of options - choose the one to disable it

but also - it makes no difference - apart from the annoying message!
