So I want a large scrollback buffer on my console (12-RELEASE). Around line 1757 of man rc.conf it states that:
My tunables contain exactly that entry (the large value is fine, I can type that into the console after boot for example to get a long scrollback buffer):
(No typos, copypasted direct from tunables page in Web UI)
When it boots, I get this message:
Any ideas?
allscreens_kbdflags
(str) If set, kbdcontrol(1) is run with these options for
each of the virtual terminals (/dev/ttyv*). For example, “-h
200” will set the syscons(4) or vt(4) scrollback (history)
buffer to 200 lines.
My tunables contain exactly that entry (the large value is fine, I can type that into the console after boot for example to get a long scrollback buffer):
TUNABLE: allscreens_kbdflags
VALUE: -h 20000
TYPE: RC
STATUS: enabled
(No typos, copypasted direct from tunables page in Web UI)
When it boots, I get this message:
Configuring vt: keymap keyrate allscreens_kbdkbdcontrol: illegal option -h
kbdcontrol: Illegal option -- h
Any ideas?
