Accessing shares on Nextcloud

Hi

I have set up a Nextcloud vm (ubuntu 16.04) in FreeNAS
I am wanting to access the files on my FreeNAS box in Nextcloud.

I am able to do this if I run the Nextcloud plugin but I don't want to run it this way as its never updated and is already old.

In Nextcloud you can access external storage a few ways, eg: Google Drive, Dropbox, webdav etc.

Does anyone know how I can access a webdav share I have created in FreeNAS or a smb share, or do you have any other ideas?

I'd suggest looking into setting up NFS shares when using with Linux and other Unix-like operating systems.

I have figured it out. I will post how I achieved it in a few days once I have some time.

So for shares to be available I had to manually install nextcloud, not just the snap. After that all the options are there and work.
