This is my first message, I will try to comply with the community rules as much as I can.
I am currently using a 12 year old Zyxel NSA325. I backup some photos and some necessary documents. But my main use is to watch 4k HDR movies. The current network in my house is based on a Gibabit router, so I do not have any problems with data speed. I can transfer a 4K HDR (approximately 40GB) movie stored in NSA 325 to my Apple TV device and watch it on my LG Oled TV without any problems. In this case, I'm just streaming or direct playback. I think it's understood so far. Coming to my main question and problems, NSA325 no longer supports 3rd party software and is far behind the times. I can't download anymore, it doesn't support any torrent protocols.
This is the motherboard I want to use in the system where I want to install TREUNAS.

My reason for choosing this card is its low energy consumption.
2 HDDs are enough for me. (16GBx2)
Using Google Sync to free up the phone's memory and Google storage space.
I am not interested in video transcoding. direct playback or streaming does the trick for me.
Do you think I should embark on this adventure? Or will this hardware become history as a dead project?
