I'm trying to have a stable environment so I can move on with other tasks. My issues with DHCP, outlined below, are most likely due to my lack of knowledge with FreeNAS and networking.

- Router switched IP addresses of FreeeNAS,
- Received multiple IP addresses for WebGUI after booting up (i.e. 192, 168, 2, 4 and 192.168.2.44), and neither one was able to access the WebGUI,
- The IP addresses of the jails changed and consequently apps within jails, such as PlexMediaServer and ownCloud, were not accessible via Web interface.

The router doesn't have a feature to reserve IPs and the 'forever lease' seems to be unreliable.

I'm sorry, but your problem has absolutely nothing to do with this thread. I'll ask a mod to move this to a new thread.

When that has happened, I ask that you explain more carefully what you mean - specifically this part:

Received multiple IP addresses for WebGUI after booting up

First one, then the next and so on, you mean?
