I have an HP N36L equipped with 8Gb, 6 SATA 2Tb disks (5x Samsung EcoGreen, 1x WD20EARS but that's out of scope) and 1 USB boot stick and 1 USB attached 2,5 inch WDC 320 Gb harddrive.
My primary zfs pool is for the 6 disks, I have another on the USB attached WDC for the jails (~120 Gb).
This HDD also holds an UFS mount (~120 Gb) and the swap for all the disks (~42 Gb).
Previously on 8.3 this was an USB-stick (32 Gb) with the swap (15 Gb) and the aformentioned UFS slice.
I'm unsure which caused the problem, the upgrade from a stick to a USB attached drive, or the upgrade to 9.1.1, but I encounter this error. The last message on screen is:
da1:umass-sim:1:0:0): lost device - 0 outstanding, 2 refs
BTW I tried both the GUI and the cmd line.
Is there something I can tune in sysctls or tuneables or shutdown script to overcome this problem?
Occasionaly I do have to reboot though ;)
