Hi All

So i have a 10gb switch and I'd like to link it to my Truenas that has a 40GB QSFP.
I've found posts where ppl have done 4x10GB and linked to other storage devices.

Anyone know if this will work in the Truenas side or has successfully done this, we have and iXsystem node?
I know this is possible on the switch side.

Sorry I was brief because I was trying with a DAC breakout and fibre breakout but the DAC were not cisco and didn't look like it was liking the fiber options with what I had.

Got a pair of Cisco Nexus 3548 in VPC/MLAG, which are 48x10GB ports
And I have a Pair of TrueNas-MA40's that are 2x 2x40GB QSFP - Chelsio T580-LP-CR

There is a 2x40GB Nic with a single link between the 2 M40's - If I remember correctly.

I'm guessing a single M40 interface won't like being split the 4x10GB between the 2 Cisco's?
So would have to do 4 ports on each cisco and should be able to LAGG it.

Should this be possible?
