4 port nic / router in Jail

he there I’ve just build my nice shiny new freeNAS on a HP micro server

pretty impressed and its sharing well

I have a spare 4 port nic card that was in my freebsd box so its should be supported Im considering putting it in this box and using it as a router within a jail how do I allocate the hardware to the jail ?

You can't do this in a jail

thanks the idea of doing it in a Jail was to keep it separate from the NAS
what is the best way of doing this ? or should I avoid

You can't run a router in a jail reliably (if at all)
