Why will auto create user dataset when I join AD?

Hello,
I join to AD.But Truenas will auto create dataset by user name.How to disable it?

Are you suggesting that you expect joining AD to entirely replace any user management system that TrueNAS has with AD? (I don't think it works how you expect if that's the case)

Can you be more specific about what dataset is created that you don't want if the above statement hasn't answered your question?

OK,
I join AD and create share for smb.Like screenshot.
Could you see akong this dataset.This is my AD account.When I login to my smb share.It's will auto create it.I don't want auto create dataset by username.

I know what the problem is.Because I choose "Private SMB datasets and shares" this use it.If I choose "Default share parameters" it's no this problem.But If I use "Default share parameters" it's can't use recycle.Could any solution?

You should be able to use the recycle bin. You just need to configure permissions correctly. That said, it's better to configure a ZFS snapshot schedule and just use shadow copies.

I test use Default share.

I know snapshot.But If I just copy one file or directory.I don't need to restore to a certain point in time to affect other normal directories and files.

Enabling snapshots and the option to allow shadow copies opens options in Windows for file level recovery (from the snapshots) to the users.
