This build will require backups for 3 Windows PCs, plus backing up less than 100GB of files. (2x 1TB + 500GB total for storage on the 3 PCs.)
For the case, I came across this Chenbro SR30169 Tower Case SR30169T2-250. So having four drive cages is preferable and having the drives as a mirrored array.
Any further help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
-Stuart

What are you planing to install? Motherboard? CPUs? Memory? etc ... Why not a case like this?

Check resources for hardware recommendation for MoBo, CPU, and other suggestions. Also keep an eye on peoples signatures to see what they are using.

CPU: Intel i3-8100 3.60 GHz
MoBo: SUPERMICRO MBD-X11SCA-F-O
Memory: Supermicro 8GB DDR4-2666
HDD: 6x WD Red 4TB NAS (24TB)
Chassis: SuperMicro 2U (Your recommendation)

The primary concern is keeping data safe. Do you think this build can/should run RAIDZ2 and ZFS for my use case?
Not to mention if there is anything I should add or change (for the best power efficiency).

edit: For the memory, do you reckon this might be a better option? Supermicro 16GB DDR4-2666 (2Rx8)

Many thanks,
-Stuart
