[EFAULT] Exception: RuntimeError:*** no is not a valid value for hostid_strict_check. Value must be off or on *** occured, destroyed plex.


so when i install plex and turn on vnet to get metadata it wont start then when i download the plug in and enable from the start i get that error. any help would be extremely helpful

EDIT updated freenas to u4 and changed time zone get this error now

please follow forum rules and post full hardware specs and software version.

Also you mentioned both plugin and non-plugin jail, so which one? iocage I assume?

have you configured a DNS server in your global network settings?

Do you have a nameserver (such as 8.8.8.8) set in Network -> Global Configuration?

Solved had to change a setting to none one of the tabs
