ping but no web display

I have just installed the current release. Installation went fine with no errors. Following the installation I configured the Ethernet port. At this point I can ping the box, but can't access via web.

I'll check the errors tonight. I'm using chrome

there are no errors. I think this is a routing problem. Strange thing is a node on the same switch and in the same subnet times out the browser. I have tried both firefox and chrome

How about some system specs? What is the network configuration of FreeNAS? What is the network configuration of the system you are trying to log in from?
