Advice on RAM Please

Hi;

I am building my first proper NAS setup and need a bit of advice on RAM
I am using FreeNAS version 8.3.0 64 Bit and have created a ZFS RAID-Z1 VDev consisting of 3 x 1TB SATA HDDs.
I only have 2 x 1GB DDR2 RAM installed and know that to get the best out of my system I need more question is how much?

The manual.. section 1.4.2 clearly explains how much RAM you need.

Thanks cyberjock, looks like I'll have to get 8GB, damm DDR2 RAM is so expensive at the mo.
