Since Cron Jobs is not working on Freenas 11.1-U5, I'd like to know if it's possible to run a script on freebsd and automate tasks on my freenas.

Upgraded from it to FreeNAS-11.1-U6 and never had a problem with cron.

What makes you say that cron is not working. I have multiple cron tasks that run every day with zero problems ever.

PS. Update to FreeNAS 11.1-U6 unless you have some significant reason not to update.
