I thought I've already learned all main cost-driving aspects of data protection, but here is 3-2-1 backup strategy to review. (Just joking, sure not all). But there is also a good news that unlimited online space is only about $4-5/mo - I didn't know price is that low these days, so will consider, thanks for that link.

Is that practical to backup terrabytes of data online at these kind of services? If average internet speed is 50 mbit/s it will take approx 2 days to backup 1 TB of data. Is that what people do? Probably faster connection will be needed?

I have about 4 TB of data backed up to CrashPlan's servers. The initial upload sucked, but there isn't a huge change from day to day, so it isn't too bad.

50mbps is way above avg. Try 10mbps upload avg. This all depends on location but upload is not something ISP usually increase.

I have just changed Intellipark's timing to 300 sec at all 4 drives. Please advice what should I do to enable time limited error recovery?
You don't, it's not supported in the Greens firmware.

I wish. Try 1.4 on a good day and only because I begged my ISP for more bandwidth and surprisingly they gave it to me. Their normal upload with my package is 768k.
