Really looking forward to the update to 1.0.2. I'm getting quite tired of the "too many connections" error.

Is there some reason you can't update your SAB in the jail? Why do you have to wait on a plugin update?

I usually update Plex in the jail, and update SickBeard and Couchpotato via the GUI. I assumed with SAB that you wait until the upgrade button shows up in the FreeNAS GUI. Can you update with pkg update && pkg upgrade the same as Plex in a standard jail?

Personally I don't see the point in the plugin if you want to have the latest version of anything.

Considering the plugin maintainer is simply doing it out of the kindness of his heart, it's inappropriate to ask for ETA.

Load up a new jail, install from pkg, and move your config over.

That makes more sense. I thought that's what was required. I honestly thought about doing that, but not sure what is involved with moving over the config so decided to take the lazy approach and hope someone updates it soon. Sorry if asking about it was inappropriate. I would have settled for a "when I feel like it." Though I am aware whoever does, does so out of the kindness of their heart, so I figured I'd get a slightly warmer response. I suppose I will just look into moving the config over so I don't have to worry about it in the future.

I built and posted the update yesterday. it should have been replicated to the FreeNAS repos last night, but I don't see it here http://download.freenas.org/plugins/9/x64/ either

I am the maintainer of both the sabnzbd port and plugin so using the port will not be faster.

I had no idea you maintained the pkg as well. I have actually always installed SAB/Couch/Sick/etc/ from git, so I just use git pull to update those.
Just started maintaining it since v1.0 release so that's pretty new.
git, is actually the most efficient way for most of these programs to update, but sabnzbd has posted releases and sticking to those is the most stable way

Either way, thanks for responding. I'll keep my eye out for the update to show.

I see the update from my phones connection, so maybe it's been propagated now?
